You can’t visit Dubai without trying one of their legendary brunches, and whether you want to sample traditional dishes from the Emirates or a trendy venue with stunning views and a party vibe, the choices are endless. We’ve rounded up our top picks.

1. JW Marriott Marquis, Business Bay

Let the JW Marriott Marquis’ Wanderlust brunch take you on a tour around the world, with offerings from South America, Asia and beyond. There are 10 live stations – one even includes a walk through the kitchen area – and approximately 360 dishes to try.

AED395 (US$107) including house drinks. Fridays, 1pm-4pm. Sheikh Zayed Rd, Business Bay.

Enjoy old-school charm at Al Falamanki

2. Al Falamanki, Jumeirah Beach Road

Al Falamanki invites you to a milieu of old-school charm with their authentic Lebanese brunch, which takes guests on a journey of traditional Arabic food in their charming garden. Think mouthfuls of manakeesh (flatbread with toppings like cheese or ground meat) and tasty tahini, all prepared on live cooking stations for the ultimate experience of ancient tradition in modern Dubai.

AED120 inclusive of selected drinks. Saturdays, 11am-2pm. Jumeirah Beach Rd, Jumeirah 2.

Classic Chinese cuisine with a twist at Zheng He's

3. Zheng He's, Madinat Jumeirah

The Voyage Brunch at Zheng He’s in Madinat Jumeirah’s Mina A’Salam Hotel revolves around the journey of Zheng He as he travels on seven nautical explorations. The menu stays rooted with Chinese traditions while offering new techniques and quirky styles of presentation as he creates flavours from around the world. Delicious dim sum and hand carved duck are some of the dishes that make up the colourful spread.

AED395 inclusive of soft drinks package, AED495 for house drinks, AED250 for children aged 4-11 years. Fridays, 12pm-4pm. Madinat Jumeirah, Al Sufouh Rd.

Brunch at 360° offers fantastic views

4. 360°, Jumeirah Beach Hotel

With a backdrop that includes the stunning Burj Al Arab and the glimmering Arabian Gulf, the 180° Friday Brunch at 360° includes unlimited house beverages and sharing platters of pan-Asian nibbles such as sumptuous dim sum, sushi and innovative bar snacks. Diners can upgrade their packages to include free-flowing bubbles and desserts.

AED295 for the house drinks package, AED345 for the bubbly package and additional dessert. Fridays, 1pm-4pm. Jumeirah Rd.

Mediterranean cuisine at Level Seven

5. V Hotel, Al Habtoor City

Situated inside the V Hotel’s Level Seven restaurant and on their Wet Deck, guests won’t be disappointed with the sheer amount of food on offer at the Feed Me brunch. From canape-sized appetisers ready to take from fridges to a full roast dinner and live meat and fish cooking stations, you’ll have trouble saving room for dessert.

AED395 for soft drinks, AED495 for house beverages and selected cocktails, AED595 for the bubbly package. Fridays, 12.30pm-4pm. Al Habtoor City, Sheikh Zayed Rd.

Brunch 105 at La Cantine du Faubourg

6. La Cantine Du Faubourg, Trade Centre 2

The Saturday Reveil brunch at La Cantine Du Faubourg inside Jumeirah Emirates Towers makes guests feel like they’re in a real Parisian bedroom. It comes complete with a flamboyant bed in the middle of the room and wait staff in designer satin pyjamas and silk robes. Parisian street beats play while diners enjoy a selection of pastries, eggs and champagne sangria.

AED250 for the soft drinks package, AED380 for house drinks, AED495 for the premium bubbly package. Saturdays, 1pm-4pm. Emirates Towers Hotel.

Beachfront brunch at The Tap House

7. The Tap House, Palm Jumeirah

The Tap House beachfront bar and restaurant at Club Vista Mare serves up a Friday brunch of modern European cuisine with a touch of American comfort. It includes three courses with highlights being the southern fried chicken and Belgian waffle with truffle maple sauce, lentil scotch egg with homemade piccalilli, mushroom and truffle risotto and the roast of the day.

AED90 for the children’s package, AED175 for soft drinks, AED345 for house beverages. Fridays, 12.30pm-4pm. Palm Jumeirah, Club Vista Mare.

A stunning view of Dubai's skyscrapers from Zero Gravity

8. Zero Gravity, Dubai Marina

For beachside dining with a stunning view of Dubai’s famous skyscrapers, the Onshore Social brunch includes an array of free-flowing drinks – including their popular wicked watermelons – plus sharing platters of sushi and barbecued burgers. In cooler weather, guests can lounge outdoors on the sand or by the pool.

AED395 for house drinks, AED666 for the premium bubbly package. Fridays, 3pm-6pm. Dubai Marina, Skydive Dubai Drop Zone, Al Sufouh Rd.

Champagne brunches at Yalumba

9. Yalumba, Al Garhoud

The Friday brunch and garden party inside Le Meridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre is one of the Emirates’ legendary champagne brunches. Complete with outdoor grilling stations and a live DJ, guests can order items such as Eggs Benedict from the a la carte menu and enjoy the wide selection of dishes available from the indoor buffet.

AED499 for the premium bubbly package. Fridays, 12.30pm-3.30pm. Le Meridien Dubai, Airport Rd.
