Opened in 2018 as an extravagant recreation of an 18th-century European palace, this opulent property is reopening this fall under the Raffles flag, a brand synonymous with luxury in Asia for more than 130 years. Situated on the manmade Palm Jumeirah archipelago that stretches into the gulf, the 100,000-square-meter resort will feature eight top-flight restaurants and a cinema as well as a new beach club offering Mediterranean sophistication along 500 meters of private coastline. Naturally, Raffles’ iconic patisserie and writers lounge are among the swank amenities.
