Named after the publication year of Jerry Thomas’s pioneering bartender’s guide, 1862 Dry Bar takes a spirits-forward approach to cocktails.
Owner Alberto Martínez highlights classics like mint juleps, gin fizzes and Martínez cocktails alongside new (and improved) drinks.
The narrow Malasaña space has the look and feel of an old-timey institution, with soft green walls, antique mirrors and a dark wood bar inviting guests to linger.
