Dewakan

This elegant restaurant headed by award-winning chef Darren Teoh is located in Kuala Lumpur’s city centre. Noted for having worked at lauded fine-dining restaurants like Copenhagen’s Noma and Singapore’s Les Amis, Teoh champions the use of local ingredients in innovative and surprising ways to create a new kind of Malaysian cuisine. Savour dishes like slow-cooked red snapper with temu (ginger) broth, or black banana porridge. Note that Dewakan is open only for dinner, and only serves a nine- or 17-course degustation menu.
