Jakarta’s first modern contemporary art museum, opened in November 2017, made Time magazine’s list of the “World’s 100 Greatest Places” the following year. Most of the art at this stunning private museum comes from the personal collection of founder and prominent businessman Haryanto Adikoesoemo. Among the highlights are leading local talents such as painter I Nyoman Masriadi and contemporary artist Rudi Mantofani, alongside global names such as Yayoi Kusama and Ai Weiwei.
