This pond-laden park is the perfect place to meet locals. Here, seniors dance and play mahjong every day of the week, but on Sundays the more bizarre sight of the “marriage market” gears up. For this event, thousands of parents display printed profiles of their kids of marriageable age, in the hopes of matching them with the perfect partner.
