Supply is slowly catching up with demand in Yangon, as the city welcomes a slew of new hotel openings
1. Hotel G Yangon
The latest addition to the design-driven chain of hotels opened this September with 85 rooms. It offers a great location in the heart of the Yaw Min Gyi neighbourhood, popular with the city’s young expat crowd and close to bars, cafes and restaurants. It also boats its own all-day dining venue Babett which is already winning plaudits for its Mediterranean-inspired dishes.

2. Lotte Hotel Yangon
