A good brunch is the hallmark of a weekend well spent, and the upcoming Easter weekend (8 to 9 April 2023) is the perfect time to sit back, relax and just indulge. These restaurants are going the extra mile to make your Easter brunch in Singapore a memorable one, and you can expect appearances by the Easter bunny, Easter egg hunts, lavish dessert spreads, fresh seafood and main courses that will impress. We’ve shortlisted some of the best places to be for Easter brunch – all you have to do is book your table.

1. Alley on 25, Andaz Singapore

The best way to recharge during a long weekend is with a lazy breakfast. Alley on 25’s weekend breakfast gets an Easter-themed spin – diners can tuck into a main course of their choice alongside an unlimited Asian and Western buffet spread plus bottomless champagne, house wines and DIY cocktails. Fill your plate with speciality, cage-free eggs, mains such as charred cauliflower steak, classic shepherd’s pie or tiger prawns and saffron risotto, and Asian selections such as satay, wok-fried carrot cake and much more. There’s also an unlimited dessert spread, with highlights such as hot cross choux, caramel apple crumble, carrot cake with cheese frosting and ricotta cheese tart with candied fruit.

Goodwood Park Hotel’s Easter decadence will span across three of the hotel’s F&B outlets – L’Espresso, Gordon Grill and Coffee Lounge. There are four stations dishing out everything from generous servings of French and Australian cheeses, complemented by assorted nuts and crackers, dried fruits and more, to the live carving station where you’ll find glazed easter ham, oven-roasted US whole prime rib with mushroom sauce and slow-roasted leg of lamb with rosemary and black garlic jus. Alternatively, tuck into Thai dishes such as grilled pork with jeow som (moo ping) or green chicken curry with eggplant; local options such as GWP Laksa with laksa leaves and sambal chilli or even Hainanese boneless chicken rice balls with roasted pork belly; plus Taiwanese specialities such as wok-fried chilli prawn with deep-fried mantou and salt-baked chicken in mui chow style. Got a picky little eater in tow? Little ones will enjoy spaghetti or penne with a choice of two different sauces – tomato herb or tangy beef bolognese; or opt for the white wine cream sauce for yourself. Don’t miss out on the impressive dessert spread too, with a gorgeous assortment of cakes, brownies, macarons and a doughnut wall. There’ll be retail pop-ups around the hotel if you need a break while the kids jump around in the bouncy castle or go on an Easter egg hunt. Be sure to snap a picture with the colourful inflatable eggs around the main pool too.

InterContinental Singapore takes whimsical to new heights with its first-ever Easter Sunday Big Brunch, as diners will be treated to more than 300 Easter-themed creations from the hotel’s main dining outlets. Choose from a smorgasbord of brunch picks across 16 live stations, an ice crustacean bar with shucked oysters, Boston lobster, snow crabs and so much more. You’ll want to savour LUCE by Davide Giacomelli’s pleasing Italian spread, comprising beef tortellini, truffle egg frittata, pan-seared barramundi fillet and a live pinsa station with freshly baked rustica. Beyond chicken satay panggang, South Indian chicken curry and the InterContinental Laksa by The Lobby Lounge, you’ll also want to try Man Fu Yuan’s Chinese specialities such as roasted suckling pig flambé with Chinese rose wine. Brunch is never complete without dessert, and Executive Pastry Chef Desmond Lee has rolled out a specially crafted assortment of whimsical desserts such as “The Hatter” ToffeeNutella chocolate cake, “Poison Mushroom” brandied cherries meringue lollipop, “Easter Snow Egg” with passionfruit and coconut and more. While you sip on champagne, children will get a chance to win attractive prizes and goodie bags in the Easter egg hunt, try out face-painting and balloon-sculpting, and let loose in the indoor bouncy castle and ball pit.

If elegant Easter brunches are your cup of tea, then book a table at La Brasserie and celebrate with fresh Boston lobster and Alaskan king crab legs on ice. Continue your feasting afterwards with a series of exclusive chef’s specials such as the luxurious scrambled or sous vide cage-free eggs with a generous dollop of black truffle, sea urchin and Oscietra caviar. The true star of the brunch? The Moroccan-spiced roasted gundagai lamb leg, which is cooked to juicy perfection and perfectly complemented by tender forkfuls of crispy roasted pork belly. If you’re in the mood for a drool-worthy feast, The Line’s Easter Wonderland brunch has exactly what you’re looking for. Savour a wide array of local and international plates, ranging from a perfectly baked salmon wellington to a 100-day grain-fed Angus tomahawk. Brunch gets egg-citing with a very special Easter egg live station, where you’ll find scrambled eggs on a toasted brioche with shaved truffle, lobster Benedict and onsen egg with caramelised onion, potato foam and caviar. Opus Bar & Grill’s Hoppin’ Poppin’ Easter Sunday Brunch has all the seasonal goodies to please, from sustainable seafood on ice and eight different kinds of cheese to cuisines from around the world. Must-haves at this Easter brunch include the wok-fried XO seafood carrot cake, grilled rack of lamb, seafood bouillabaisse, joue de boeuf bourguignon plus sushi, cold soba noodles and an array of sashimi. The kids aren’t left out either, as there’s a tot-friendly menu with classics like mac and cheese, beef sliders and curly fries. Satiate your sweet tooth afterwards by nibbling on Easter desserts such as cappuccino mascarpone cheese cake, praline birds nest cake, chocolate Easter cake, a snazzy Easter rainbow cake plus a hot cross bun pudding.

8. Racines, Sofitel Singapore City Centre

Spring is finally peeking out from around the corner, and Racines is celebrating with a decadent Easter buffet that celebrates the best of spring produce. From hearty salads and sashimi and sushi to French and Western platters and more, there’s something to please every palate here. Bring your appetite for the pan-fried foie gras with kumquat marmalade, coastal lamb rack with chimichurri sauce and the baked lobster with tarragon béarnaise. Those with a hankering for flavours closer to home will want seconds of the Singapore Hokkien mee with seafood broth and sambal chilli, pork dumpling ramen and the stir-fried crayfish with chilli crab sauce and mantous. Don’t skip dessert because Racines is doling out lemon meringue pie and strawberry shortcake to go with assorted croffles, hot cross buns, eclairs, pralines and other Easter goodies. Families with younger children can also look forward to balloon sculpting and magic tricks. C’est magnifique!
