Singapore Airlines will begin non-stop Singapore–Los Angeles flights on the latest Airbus A350-900ULR aircraft from 2 November
It will soon be easier than ever to travel between Singapore and the United States with Singapore Airlines (SIA), thanks to new non-stop services and increased flight frequencies.
Starting from 2 November, SIA will operate non-stop flights between Singapore and Los Angeles using its latest Airbus A350-900ULR (ultra-long-range) aircraft.
The route will initially be served three times per week, departing Singapore on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Daily operations will commence from 9 November, with the total number of weekly flights increasing to 10 from 7 December. This non-stop route will replace SIA’s existing one-stop service to Los Angeles via Seoul, which will cease after 30 November.
In addition, SIA will increase its existing daily non-stop Singapore–San Francisco services to 10 times per week, with effect from 28 November. The three additional services will depart every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Singapore Airlines currently operates a total of 40 flights per week to US destinations Houston, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. With these new services, flight frequency to the US will increase to a total of 53 per week by December.
“Together with our non-stop flights between Singapore and New York that will launch in October, SIA will redefine the convenience of travelling between Singapore and the US, delivering on our promise to constantly enhance the travel experience of our customers,” said Singapore Airlines CEO Mr Goh Choon Phong.
