Spanning 2,500 acres of ancient woodland and grassland, this sprawling oasis in Southwest London is the largest urban park in Europe. It’s famous for its 600-plus red and fallow deer, which roam the grounds as they wish. Visitors should also check out the Isabella Plantation, a woodland garden dotted with unusual trees and shrubs. The Plantation is especially beautiful in April and May, when its azaleas and rhododendrons are in full bloom.
