Since 1899, The Dolder Grand has overlooked Zurich from its wooded hillside setting, with sweeping views of the city, Lake Zurich and the Alps.
Today, the landmark hotel doubles as a private art gallery, with more than 100 works by artists including Salvador Dalí, Keith Haring and Joan Miró displayed throughout the hotel and its grounds.
With a 4,000sqm spa and chef Heiko Nieder’s two-Michelin-starred The Restaurant, there’s little reason to venture elsewhere.
