Across two buildings, Switzerland’s largest art museum covers more than 800 years of art history, from medieval pieces to modern installations.
Its galleries feature work from the Swiss masters such as Alberto Giacometti and Ferdinand Hodler, as well as many pieces from Picasso, van Gogh, Chagall and the Impressionists.
The museum also houses the world’s largest collection of Edvard Munch’s works outside Norway.
