Formerly known as ‘Neighbourgoods’ in pre-pandemic days, The Playground – or Play Braam – returns to the same location, bigger and better than ever. This local market operates out of a multistorey former office block every Saturday in the up-and-coming Braamfontein district. Fuel up with gourmet food stalls and street eats, then browse the plethora of stalls hawking arts and crafts, clothing and home decor. Finish off with a rooftop drink in the glowing afternoon Jozi sun as a DJ or band puts on a show.
