This beautiful teahouse in the peaceful Seongbuk-dong neighbourhood occupies the former home of famed early-20th-century writer Lee Tae-jun. Curl up indoors and sip green plum tea while you gaze at old portraits of Lee’s family, or sit outside in the garden and enjoy a bowl of patbingsu (shaved ice with sweet red beans) while reading your favourite book. After all, the teahouse’s name means “a place in the mountains for people to read together”.
