Since 1996, Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant has been serving Sichuan and Cantonese specialities in Singapore, pairing traditional Chinese cooking with an appreciation for tea culture. With locations at UOB Plaza and PARKROYAL on Beach Road, the restaurant is also recognised for its signature tea-pouring performances, where skilled tea masters serve guests using long-spouted bronze kettles.

To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the restaurant is reviving its 100-dish dining experience for the first time in a decade. Titled A Hundred Expressions, One Masterpiece, the limited-time offering features 100 small plates served in an unlimited tasting format, available exclusively at its flagship restaurant at UOB Plaza.

What to expect

The anniversary menu brings together two chefs who have shaped the restaurant’s culinary identity. Master Sichuan Chef Zeng Feng, who previously led its kitchen for more than 20 years, returns to work alongside current Executive Chef Hoo Chee Keong.

Together, they explore the diversity of Sichuan and Cantonese cooking, with more than 15 Sichuan flavour profiles that go beyond the familiar ma la combination of chilli heat and Sichuan peppercorn.

Expect favourites such as Minced Meat Dumpling in Chilli Oil, Stir-fried Chinese Cabbage with Dried Chilli and Fresh Scallop in Minced Sichuan Pepper Sauce.

For a taste of traditional Sichuan cooking, look out for Braised Pork Belly in Honey Sauce and Traditional Minced Chicken Soup with Fungus, two lesser-seen heritage recipes recreated by Chef Zeng.

Celebrating 30 years of culinary heritage

The 30th Anniversary Signatures collection showcases Chef Hoo’s Cantonese creations, prepared using ingredients aged for more than three decades.

Highlights include Fresh Prawn with 30-Year Chinese Wine & Herbs, where the sweetness of prawns is complemented by aged wine and fragrant herbs, and Steamed Cod with 30-Year Preserved Radish, which draws on the preserved ingredient’s rich umami flavour.

Another standout is the Jellyfish with 30-Year Aged Vinegar, delicately shaped like a chrysanthemum and dressed with aged vinegar for a refreshing, tangy finish.

The 100-dish anniversary experience

Available from 12 October 2026 to 10 January 2027, A Hundred Expressions, One Masterpiece is priced at $108++ per person, with a minimum of four diners.

The experience is offered during weekday dinners, as well as lunch and dinner on weekends, public holiday eves and public holidays.

UOB Cardmembers enjoy 15% savings when dining in groups of four or more adults.
