Homegrown Singapore pâtisserie brand, nesuto, has spent the past nine years building a loyal following with handcrafted pâtisserie that feels as suitable for an everyday treat as it does for a celebration.
The brand first opened in a heritage shophouse on Tras Street in 2017 before expanding with the launch of its flagship Confectionery Atelier at Jewel Changi Airport in 2023.
Today, nesuto remains dedicated to handcrafted pâtisserie across its dessert-focused concepts at both locations.
Pâtisserie’s touch
Whether you’re catching up with a friend over coffee or treating yourself to an afternoon pick-me-up, nesuto at Tras Street and Jewel Changi Airport remains centred on what first made the brand a favourite: handcrafted pâtisserie.
For a sweet treat, signature cake slices start from $15, with the selection changing daily. The Yuzu Raspberry remains one of nesuto’s enduring favourites, pairing cotton-light sponge with airy mousse and bright Japanese yuzu for a finish that’s refreshing rather than overly sweet.
Alongside its signature cakes, you’ll also find handcrafted pastries, chocolates, cookies and seasonal creations, making each visit a little different from the last.
More than just cakes
In 2025, nesuto introduced café nesuto at ION Orchard and Marina Bay Sands – an all-day dining concept that extends the brand’s pâtisserie philosophy to comforting mains, handmade pasta and brunch.
For first-time visitors, the Braised Miso Chicken Leg ($27) is an excellent place to start. Served with nutty genmai rice and a silky miso sake cream, the slow-cooked chicken is tender enough to fall effortlessly from the bone.
Those looking for something heartier should consider the 24hrs Braised Beef Short Ribs ($38). Braised for a full day, the beef develops deep savoury flavour while becoming beautifully fork-tender.
Handmade pasta is another highlight. The Morel Mushroom Pappardelle ($29) coats ribbons of fresh pasta in a rich morel mushroom sauce, while the Wagyu Ragù Lasagne ($28) layers slow-cooked ragù between delicate pasta sheets for a hearty yet refined take on an Italian favourite.
To end your meal on a sweet note, café nesuto offers plenty to choose from. The Vanilla French Toast ($16) strikes a pleasing balance between crisp edges and a soft, custardy centre, while the Marina Bay Sands-exclusive Kaya Butter French Toast ($19) offers an elevated take on one of Singapore‘s favourite breakfast classics.
Cake lovers shouldn’t miss the Singapore Sling-inspired creation at café nesuto ION Orchard, which reimagines Singapore’s iconic cocktail through layers of vanilla sponge, coconut mousse, cherry compote and pineapple-lime compote. At Marina Bay Sands, pair a slice with a glass of wine for a fitting finale.
