From the breathtaking DNA Tree of Life structure in the canopied courtyard to the different galleries featuring the country’s flora and fauna, the National Museum of Natural History successfully presents the Philippines amazing biodiversity. Part of the National Museum Complex (which also includes the Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Anthropology), the museum is located in the former headquarters of the country’s Department of Tourism. It’s an impressive building designed in a neoclassical style. But what you’ll find inside is also a sight to behold, from giant crocodiles to gentle whale sharks and everything in between. A must-visit for families with children.
