Travellers might find themselves looking for a bit of greenery after a few days in the city, which isn’t known for having many parks. Near the northeast border of Metro Manila in Quezon City lies a surprise: an eco-park fashioned around the La Mesa watershed. For a small entrance fee, visitors can picnic, bike on the trails or even go rowing on the water. Events are occasionally held in the park, too.
