Legend has it that those who manage to hug the pillar at the Qutub Minar have their wishes come true. This stunning late-12th-century red sandstone minaret is one of Delhi’s most recognisable landmarks, standing tall at 73 metres and five storeys. The Qutub complex also contains an old mosque with an iron pillar in its courtyard.
