Munich has several larger-than-life, permanent art installations by the Icelandic-Danish artist, who works with elemental materials such as light, water, air and temperature. From the staircase leading to nowhere (Ganghoferstraße 29A) and the metallic sphere hanging in the Fünf Höfe (Theatinerstraße 15) to the twirling pendant in the Lenbachhaus (Luisenstraße 33), these attractions add to the character of each Munich district they inhabit.
