Docked at HKRI Taikoo Hui on West Nanjing Road, Le Café Louis Vuitton occupies the top floor of The Louis, a striking ship-shaped structure whose prow and hull are embellished with the house’s metallic Monogram, while its stacked upper levels evoke Louis Vuitton’s historic trunks. Inside, sweeping city views, plush velvet seating and artworks from the brand’s collection set an appropriately glamorous scene.
Chef de cuisine Leonardo Manetta, whose résumé spans more than a decade in Michelin-starred kitchens including Ristorante Berton and The Clove Club, oversees a playful East-meets-West menu.
Highlights include Monogram Tacos with scallop tartare, yuzu and 24-month-aged Parmesan; Blue Lobster with carrot sauce, olives and Sichuan caviar; and Monogram Jiaozis served with mushroom consommé.
The Beef Wellington Treasure pairs Wagyu tenderloin with black truffle, while desserts such as the Chocolate Monogram, made with Ugandan cacao, and Tiramisu Montenapoleone provide a suitably decadent finale.
