Wendy’s Secret Garden

Nestled north of the Harbour Bridge in Lavender Bay, this garden is a horticultural labour of love by the wife and muse of the late Brett Whiteley, one of Australia’s most celebrated artists. It’s a sanctuary in the city, offering perfectly framed views of the harbour, prime picnic spots and plenty of opportunity for quiet reflection. It’s also possible to visit Whiteley’s studio, now managed as a museum by the Art Gallery of NSW, across town in Surry Hills.
