Exciting gourmet dining and luxury events take centre stage in the Lion City all this month

1. Kinky Boots

Broadway’s huge hit has arrived in Singapore for a short stint. The high-energy musical centers around living up to high expectations and pushing through the face of adversity. The six-time Tony award-winning show is not to be missed.

2. Hermès Carré Club

Hermès invites guests to an interactive experience at their pop-up club. Picture live art demonstrations, café setups, literary journeys and more. Quirky exhibits, including a Carré-Ok box and a Carré Park that houses a skate ramp, are all part of the innovative celebration of the iconic silk square scarf.

3. Arcade G Session

The party planners at Hotel G are giving Throwback Thursday a whole new meaning with their Arcade G-Session. Grab your friends and head way, way, back time to lose yourself in the moment with Dance Dance Revolution, Bishi Bashi, or the Hi-Striker Machine to earn some free drinks. Try your hand at the old school claw machines for a chance to win exciting beauty products, or simply groove to the good vibes provided by DJ Tang who will be spinning hip-hop all night long.

4. Oktoberfest Asia

It’s the most wonderful time of the year to be a beer-lover. Drink and be merry as Europe’s iconic beer festival is recreated in a tent of its own in Singapore.

5. Cuca’s Gastro Tour: Swig & Nibble

The Pan Pacific Singapore is teaming up with Cuca, a fine dining restaurant from Jimbaran, Bali, to present gastro tour Swig & Nibble. Expect whimsical creations from Chef Kevin Cherkas, whose savoury highlights include Sambal Lolli, Foie Gras Cupcake and Magic Mushroom. Between canapé tastings, enjoy expertly paired cocktails and wines from Poolside Bar and Atrium, including Gin Beer and a Chocolate Old Fashioned. Price is $125 per person.

6. Winemakers’ Table Dinner

Presented by The Straits Wine Company, this year’s Wine Fiesta kicks off with a dinner at Clifford Pier. Enjoy a four-course gourmet meal created by Chef Tim Meijers, known for blending the best of local and international ingredients. Wine and dine with the wine buffet bar, which includes an endless supply of the best reds and whites, curated alongside your dinner. Tickets are going for $194.69 per person.

7. BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore

Watch as the biggest names in women’s tennis battle it out in the final tournament – both of the season and for the Singapore leg of the tournament. In addition to some excellent tennis, visitors can enjoy lifestyle events perfect for the whole family as well as concerts with crooner Jason Mraz set to make an appearance.

8. Food Japan 2018

The iconic Japanese food fair returns for its seventh annual exhibition of oishii food and beverage. As ASEAN’s largest event of its kind, the event is set to offer a wide-variety of food from different prefectures from around Japan. In addition to shopping (and tastings), visitors will also have the opportunity to attend cooking classes and demonstrations by culinary masters.

9. ACM After Dark 2018: The Elements

Uncover the deep-rooted secrets of earth, wind, water and fire during the Asian Civilisations Museum annual Halloween event. Discover how the elements intertwine with ancient traditions and supernatural beliefs, while performances and paranormal talks will have you shivering with fear throughout the night. This family-friendly event also includes a souvenir-making session along with prizes for the top three best-dressed visitors.
