With its superb interiors and unbeatable location, the masterfully designed Elizabeth Unique Hotel provides a tasteful, contemporary base for your stay in the Eternal City

1. An unmatched central location – without the hubbub

Despite being situated in the beating heart of Rome’s commercial district, with the Spanish Steps a short walk away, Elizabeth Unique Hotel is a quiet oasis of urban calm.

2. Classical inspiration is infused with state-of-the-art finish

Built over three levels of a restored 17th-century palazzo, the hotel nods to traditional architecture. The Roman arch is a theme repeated in each guestroom, with muted brass touches adding subtle definition to doorways and hanging light fixtures.

3. The walls are a showcase of colour and culture

The clean white hallways, corridors and staircases double up as exhibition spaces for artworks from the local Galleria Russo – all carefully curated by the hotel’s in-house cultural manager. Striking pieces by contemporary Italian artists line the walls of the guestrooms, too.

4. Temptations abound at the destination bar and restaurant

The Bacharach & Bistrot is a loungy tribute to the American composer. Its breakfast spread (served till 2.30pm daily), with dishes such as bomba carbonara and milk bread with burrata and anchovies, plugs a gastronomic hole in a city not exactly known for its morning dining.

5. Guests receive around-the-clock advice and support

At reception, you’ll be guided through the best Roman exploits; an art historian is on call as well. You can also forget about roaming charges and data limits thanks to complimentary smartphones.
