SIA will fly to Busan, a scenic port city in South Korea, four times a week
Singapore Airlines’ (SIA) regional wing, SilkAir, has announced that it will be transferring its services to Busan to SIA.
Taking effect from 28 October 2019, the route will be served by SIA’s 285-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft, which feature 30 Business Class and 255 Economy Class seats. The A330s can accommodate up to 123 more passengers per flight than SilkAir’s 162-seat Boeing 737-800s, enabling SIA to boost seat capacity on the route by 76% to meet growing travel demand.
Subject to regulatory approvals, SIA will operate flights to Busan four times per week, maintaining SilkAir’s current flight frequency. Customers with existing bookings on SilkAir’s Busan flights on and after 28 October 2019 will be accommodated on SIA flights.
