Overlooking Beira Lake, this quintessentially Sri Lankan, arrack-heavy tavern inside the metropolitan hotel Cinnamon Lakeside is hard to miss if you are looking for a fun local bar experience. Inspired by his island upbringing, local mixologist Dhanushka Dias developed a cocktail menu that serves unique drinks like Dodola. This arrack blend of coconut milk, nutmeg and cardamom recalls a popular sweetmeat named dodol, which is also well-loved in various parts of Southeast Asia. Weekends see crowds heading there for live music, beat drumming and mixology sessions.
