So popular is Haeundae Beach that its 1.5km stretch of sand becomes the country’s single most popular place in the summer. In fact, it holds a Guinness World Record for the most parasols on a single stretch of sand. The beachfront area continues to entice after dark with its restaurants, nightclubs and gambling hall (Casino Paradise Busan). The official swimming season is from June to August. Besides Haeundae, there are six other beaches in Busan.
