Just behind Common Man Coffee Roasters, head up to the second floor of a shophouse to find KOLLECTIVE by Belle&Kate, where curated vintage luxury from some of fashion’s biggest houses sits alongside a rotating selection of local and independent brands from across Asia.
The concept comes from Belle&Kate, which Ardine Nakety founded in Indonesia in 2016 as a marketplace for buying, selling and trading pre-owned luxury.
Its Singapore outpost takes that eye for designer finds and expands it into a wider fashion and lifestyle edit, bringing vintage bags, accessories and apparel together with independent fashion, beauty and design.
Unique vintage finds
The vintage edit calls for a good rummage through the rails and shelves, especially for vintage collectors and seasoned luxury shoppers. Expect bags, accessories and apparel from Hermès, Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton and more.
You could potentially find rare past-season pieces, discontinued styles and unexpected colourways alongside recognisable house signatures, including designs that have long disappeared from boutiques – all at a more reasonable price than buying new. Some capture a distinct chapter in a fashion house’s history, from silhouettes that defined an era to details and finishes that are no longer in production.
It also speaks to the philosophy Belle&Kate has championed since its beginnings: keeping well-made luxury pieces in circulation and giving them another life with a new owner.
