Part caffé, part fashion destination, Prada Caffè brings a taste of Milan to Orchard Road, offering a glimpse into the Italian fashion house’s world beyond its boutiques and collections.
Located within the Prada flagship at ION Orchard, the space draws on the brand’s rich heritage. Signature green interiors, black-and-white chequered flooring inspired by Prada’s original 1913 Milan boutique and bespoke tableware reference the design codes that have defined the house for more than a century.
From morning coffee and afternoon tea to aperitivo and cocktails, the experience unfolds through a series of carefully considered details, reflecting Prada’s commitment to craftsmanship, culture and design.
Don’t miss these
The Afternoon Tea Selection ($120 for two) offers one of the most elegant introductions to the Prada Caffè experience. Served with a choice of signature tea or specialty coffee, the set features madeleines, chocolate pralines, candied fruits, jellies, mini monoportion and savoury canapés, making it ideal for a leisurely afternoon amid the caffé’s stylish surroundings.
For something more indulgent, the Caviar Ritual ($200) showcases 30g of Kaluga Queen Oscietra caviar served with blinis, crème fraîche and chives. Rich, buttery and delicately briny, it is designed to be savoured slowly, whether as a celebratory treat or paired with a glass of champagne.
Among the savoury offerings, the Crab Roll with Tarragon and Cream Cheese ($42) stands out as a refined all-day option. Delicate crab meat is paired with aromatic tarragon and cream cheese, cradled within a soft bread roll that is light yet satisfying. Just as delightful is the Roasted Octopus with Piquillo Peppers and Cannellini Beans ($38), where tender octopus meets bright Mediterranean flavours.
Resisting the pastry counter is impossible. The Pistachio small cake ($24), layered with Bronte pistachio cream and vanilla Bavarian cream, delivers rich nutty sweetness, while the Raspberry Sacher ($24) balances chocolate mousse with fresh raspberry jelly for a contemporary interpretation of the Austrian classic.
Beyond coffee and pastries, Prada Caffè embraces the Italian art of aperitivo. The Signature Negroni Ritual ($38) offers a modern interpretation of the classic cocktail through flavours such as strawberry, green apple and lemon, while favourites including the Aperol Spritz ($26) and Bellini ($26) provide a taste of Milan’s after-hours culture.
Completing the experience is a thoughtfully curated selection of Italian wines, from Veneto’s Torresella prosecco ($16 per glass) to Laurent-Perrier champagne ($30 per glass).
