The bar’s plush new digs on leafy Duxton Hill might be a departure from its original cosy-cramped confines three stairs up from Sago Street, but the independent bar’s trademark hospitality and world-class drinks are unmistakable. Regulars will recognise the iconic menus scrawled on the windowpanes, faithfully replicated, with its rotation of six classic cocktails markered on fresh weekly. For guests who’d like to revisit an old favourite, the chalkboard menu offers a curation of tipples with a semi-permanent lease. Many are partial to the Sesame Negroni, which blends sesame infused gin with cucumber campari, rosso and dry vermouth.
