Billed as the world’s smallest cocktail bar, Backdoor43 is little more than a 4m2 room beside the Naviglio Grande, but it packs plenty of punch.
The bar can be reserved for groups of up to four, who fill out a questionnaire so the team can tailor the drinks, music and even glassware to their tastes. When the bartenders aren’t busy with guests, they serve takeaway cocktails to passersby through a street-facing hatch.
