At SŌMA Longevity Club in Uluwatu, Bali’s wellness scene takes a more clinical approach. The doctor-led specialist clinic focuses on anti-ageing, longevity medicine and health optimisation, helping clients better understand their current health and identify areas to support their wellbeing over time.

Central to its approach is healthspan – the years of life spent in good physical and mental health. Rather than waiting for concerns to arise, SŌMA combines health assessments, medical consultations and personalised data to help clients take a more proactive approach to healthy ageing.

What to expect

Every longevity journey begins with understanding where you stand. SŌMA’s assessments examine areas such as body composition, skin health, hair health, physical strength, and metabolic indicators, using diagnostic technology and personalised health biomarkers and DNA test data to provide a broader picture of an individual’s wellbeing.

The findings are then reviewed with a physician and considered alongside factors such as lifestyle, existing concerns and personal goals. From improving recovery and physical performance to managing weight and supporting longer-term health and rejuvenation goals, recommendations are tailored to what matters most to each client.

Find your programme

For those who prefer a more structured experience, SŌMA offers programmes centred on specific goals.

Recharge and Weekend Reset & Recovery are geared towards recuperation, while Optimise Performance focuses on physical performance.

Rejuvenate and Bridal Radiance turn the attention towards skin and appearance, while Future-Proof takes a longer-term approach to health optimisation and healthy ageing.

In expert hands

SŌMA operates under the medical direction of Dr Shirley Yuliana Kwee, MBChB, GDFM (NUS), who has more than 20 years of clinical experience in the UK and Singapore.

The clinic combines medical consultations with diagnostic technology and personalised health data to inform its recommendations, taking a structured, doctor-led approach to its longevity programmes.

Why visit

For travellers, SŌMA offers an opportunity to make wellness time in Bali more purposeful. A visit could mean working on recovery and performance, taking a proactive approach to healthy ageing or simply gaining a better understanding of where your health currently stands.

Without committing to a dedicated wellness retreat, travellers can return home with a clearer picture of their health and personalised recommendations that remain relevant well beyond the holiday.
