There’s duck here, too, but the chef’s specialty Beijing-Shandong cuisine is the big draw, with offerings such as the subtle foie gras in Shaoxing yellow wine, and steamed yellow croaker. There are also well-executed hot and numbing Sichuan favourites and some of Beijing’s favourite traditional dumplings.
