Dubai's architecture literally soars to new heights. Be sure to visit these three buildings for a truly dramatic view

While there’s no doubt that Burj Khalifa is the star of Dubai’s skyline, there are two other buildings that deserve a visit.

The Gevora Hotel

1. Gevora Hotel

Standing at a lofty 356m, this 75-storey property is officially the world’s tallest hotel. Naturally, it’s also home to the highest rooftop swimming pool. Gold is a recurring theme here, from the lattice spire crowning the building to the luxe décor in the 528 rooms.

The latest addition to the city’s skyline, this gilded “picture frame” clad in over 15,000m² of stainless steel straddles old Dubai to the north and new Dubai to the south. Take in 360-degree views of both from the observation deck.

3. Burj Khalifa

This 830m icon became the tallest man-made structure in the world when it opened in January 2010. Its architecture is inspired by the spider lily, with three wings arranged around a central core, culminating in a sculpted spire.

Please check the establishments’ respective websites for opening hours as well as booking and seating requirements before visiting, and remember to adhere to safe-distancing measures while out and about.
