Spend an afternoon wandering through the pop-up museum, whose pastel-hued exhibits include a giant ball pit filled with rainbow sprinkles, larger-than-life popsicles and a psychedelic rainbow room. As of now, tickets are only available till May 29, so hurry on down.

Dessert Museum, Manila

Dessert Museum, Manila

Opened just this February and spanning a total of 12,000ft2, this wonderland comprises eight rooms, each dedicated to a different dessert. Clamber through a whimsical entrance shaped like a giant donut to discover marshmallows hanging from the ceiling, a shocking-pink cotton candy forest and so much more.

Museum of Candy, New York

Opening its doors this summer is the 30,000ft2 Museum of Candy, which will feature 15 rooms decked out with tasting stations, edible art installations and what will purportedly be the world’s largest gummy bear. If that isn’t enough to give you a cavity, there’ll also be a restaurant, al fresco café and candy emporium.

Singaporean pastry chef Janice Wong is largely considered to be the queen of edible art installations, and her new outpost at MGM Macau certainly doesn’t disappoint. Besides a live chocolate, crepe and dessert station, it’ll feature a for-display-only chocolate fountain that stands at a whopping 7.3m – making it one of the tallest in the world.

Patrick Roger, Paris

It’s not exactly a museum, but step into Patrick Roger’s whimsical store and you may just come face-to-face with one of the famed chocolatier’s giant cacao-based creations – which have included everything from chocolate hippos to his take on Auguste Rodin’s sculpture The Thinker. The sweet treats you can actually take home are pretty delicious, too.
