Eat your way around the region at these upcoming food festivals
1. Michelin Guide Street Food Festival
22 to 24 Feb
At Resorts World Sentosa, visitors can look forward to delicious creations from one-Michelin-starred Burnt Ends; Shisen Hanten, Singapore’s only two-Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant; as well as a variety of snacks from the likes of Tai Wah Pork Noodle and Traditional Haig Road Putu Piring.
2. Ubud Food Festival
26 to 28 Apr
The idyllic Balinese town plays host to the best regarded food event on the island. From cooking demonstrations to food tours, workshops to panel discussions, this is one for the epicurious.
3. Penang International Food Festival
13 to 28 Apr
This 16-day festival looks to celebrate the vibrant flavours of the local food scene with themed dining experiences and a series of mini festivals. Most excitingly, in a first for Malaysia, the event will also see 150 food trucks set up shop on the island.
