Visitors will be able to visit the Flower Dome, Cloud Forest and OCBC Skyway at Supertree Grove

The OCBC Skyway at Supertree Grove gives a bird's eye view of the rest of the Supertree grove

With the September school holidays coming up for Singapore schoolchildren, parents will be relieved to know that Gardens by the Bay is opening up even more of its ticketed attractions, specifically its OCBC Skyway at Supertree Grove which will be reopening from 7 September. Ticket sales will start from 1 September.

The popular 128m-long aerial walkway offers a spectacular view of the Marina Bay area as it is suspended 22m above ground between two Supertrees. Furthermore, the free light and sound show at Supertree Grove will also be reinstated, but instead of the usual shows happening at 7.45pm and 8.45pm, the Supertree lights will be turned on to light background music continuously from 7pm to 10pm as you stroll along the grounds.

Flower Dome reopened to the public on 11 July

This comes hot on the heels of the reopening of the park’s two conservatories – Cloud Forest on 6 August and the Flower Dome on 11 July. Featuring a vibrant European-themed landscape, the Flower Dome is awash with the vibrant colours of sunflowers, foxgloves, kangaroo paw and many more brilliant blooms. Kids will love the mini display Out of Africa, where life-sized figurines of animals such as the camel, elephant and giraffe reside amidst an African landscape of baobabs and aloes.

Over at the Cloud Forest, the mist-filled space is now host to its first-ever art exhibition, with 16 bronze sculptures from Taiwanese artist Lee Kuang-Yu interspersed among the verdant greenery.

"Timeless", one of the 16 bronze sculptures being exhibited at the Cloud Forest

There’s currently a 25% discount on conservatory tickets for the period of September 1 to October 31 2020. For more information on Gardens by the Bay’s ticketed attractions and to book tickets, click here.
