Housed in an exquisite, honey-yellow former prison building in the midst of Istanbul’s Old City, the Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet is situated just minutes from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Rooms are decorated in soothing pastel shades of yellow with original artworks from the Ottoman period. The hotel retains fascinating nods to its past, such as markings left by former inmates. The hotel is undergoing renovations until 1 December 2021.
