Another round of reusable mask distribution began on Monday, 21 September – the second mask-distribution exercise conducted by Temasek Foundation’s Stay Prepared StayMasked initiative, after an initial round roughly three months ago.
Like the previous exercise, residents of Singapore can collect a free pair of white reusable face masks (adults or kids) from various vending machines across the city-state.
However this time around, other than the standard white pleated masks with adjustable straps, you can also pick up navy, denim, peach and black versions by pre-ordering them via the website.

The navy masks cost S$8 for a pair, while the denim, peach and black hues cost S$10 for a pair. While the navy option is only available in an adult size, the other colours come in adult and kids versions. If you wish to collect more than one pair of white masks, you can also pre-order additional pairs at a cost of S$8 per pair. Pre-orders for the masks began on 13 September and will end on 2 October.
The masks can be collected through vending machines in various locations around Singapore until 4 October. If you are simply collecting adult white masks, you can do so at the vending machines located at community centres and clubs, bus interchanges, residents’ committee centres, Plaza Singapura and Temasek Shophouse.
The limited edition colours can only be collected at Plaza Singapura and the Temasek Shophouse while the navy masks for adults and kids mask in white are available at these locations, as well as at community centres and clubs islandwide.

To collect your masks, simply bring along your government-issued identity card (for the collection of the free white masks) or the redemption QR code that’s generated upon payment (for the collection of the navy, denim, peach and black masks, as well as additional white masks). Direct sales are not available at the vending machines, so do be sure to pre-order before you head down.
The face masks are reusable, antimicrobial and washable up to 30 times, and are effective against 94% of the Influenza A virus, which is an enveloped virus like the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
More details about the ordering and collection process and how to use your masks are detailed on this website.
