Housed in a historic building built in the 1920s, B&B Butchers & Restaurant was first established in 2015, quickly earning a reputation as one of Houston’s premier steakhouses thanks to its in-house dry-ageing programme and wide selection of meats, from domestic USDA Prime to Japanese Wagyu and genuine Kobe beef. Standout specialities include the long bone-in ribeye and Wagyu katsu sando – a cutlet sandwich, but made with a deep-fried, breadcrumb-crusted Japanese Wagyu ribeye. Appetisers such as Chef Tommy’s Bacon – a slab of bacon with blue cheese and truffle-infused honey – and Carpet Bagger on the Half Shell – deep-fried oysters – also win rave reviews.
