The tapas and mains by Valencian chef Javier Vicente Rejas of restaurant FOC are unapologetically full-flavoured; even the simple starter Bread & Tomatoes ($12) lands as a lip-smacking umami bomb. The Chicken Wings ‘Dirty Pepe’ ($18) is an easy favourite – spicy and so liberally seasoned you’ll want a fresh draught of Estrella lager to wash it down with.
The true standout is the Pork & Scallops Paella ($36), charred to perfection and topped with succulent half-shell scallops. End on a sweet note with some of the best churros in the city.
