World-renowned chef Gaggan Anand recently opened Mihara Tofuten in Bangkok, a restaurant that celebrates – and elevates – the humble tofu. Here are several fun facts about his latest venture.

2020
The year that Anand will pack up his knives, shutter his award-winning eponymous restaurant and get to work on a brand-new concept in Fukuoka, slated to open in 2021. The latter will be a collaboration with fellow chef Takeshi “Goh” Fukuyama, who is also Anand’s partner at Mihara Tofuten.
